How to Create a PayPal Page for a Website

To conduct business on your website, consider adding PayPal buttons. This way, you create a page that has PayPal functionality, which allows you to perform certain actions on your site. For example, if you sell products or offer subscriptions, make a specific button for this service so that visitors click this feature to complete the secure transaction. Using your PayPal account, create PayPal buttons for your own website to bypass the need for a shopping cart of other type of merchant service.

Instructions: Things You'll Need:
PayPal account, Text editor, Web host

1.
Log in to your PayPal account and click the "Merchant Services" tab.
2. Click a button type and follow the prompts to create your selected button. Options include "Add to Cart," "Buy Now," "Donate," "Gift Certificate," "Subscribe" and "My Saved Buttons."

3. Enter your shipping specifications and tax rate percentage and then choose an email address where you want PayPal transaction notices sent. Click the "Create Button" when done.

4. Click the "Website" tab and copy the code that creates your PayPal button on your website.
5. Launch your text editor and open the desired Web page(s). Add the page source information to your page(s) (if they are not already created) and then locate the area where you want your button to appear. Paste in your button code from step 4 and save your file.

6. Place your page file(s) on your Web host to activate your buttons. When a visitor clicks this feature, she is taken to a secure PayPal page that allows her to complete her transaction. PayPal notifies you of this activity by sending an email to the address that you specified in Step 3.
