Retrieve your wireless network key from your Network Preferences.
Your wireless security key is a unique password assigned to your wireless network, which safeguards your network from unauthorized users. This network key can usually be found in your wireless settings located in the Keychain Access application on Macintosh computers, and in the Network Preferences located in the Control Panel on a Windows-based computer. Do not give your network key to anyone you do not trust, as the key allows access to your Internet connection and access to your computer, which leaves your personal information vulnerable.
